Dear Chamber Members: In an effort to further assist our members during these tough economic times, the Skamania County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and staff are working on “recession response” tactics. Throughout the year we will provide opportunities for you to participate and hopefully increase your bottom line.

The first project is a new, cost-free way to promote your services and/or products. The Chamber will create a directory of discounts and savings offered by our members to the public. The directory will be available on-line via our website, www.skamania.org and as a flyer in the Chamber office. We will also purchase an advertisement in the Skamania Pioneer highlighting the offers. All you need to do is tell us what discount, special offer or coupon you want to promote.

We want to get this directory published as soon as possible. So please provide us with your savings, discount or coupon information by next Friday, March 13, 2009. Include specific percentages or dollar amounts along with an expiration date (if any), blackout dates, exceptions, etc. Please also send us a digital file of your logo. The Skamania County Chamber will design the discount directory with a projected publication date of March 30.
