Port of Ridgefield Launches New Web Site

Ridgefield, WA: The Port of Ridgefield announced that it has launched a new and greatly improved Web site. The new site is designed to be the single location that constituents, potential clients, business partners and interested public can go to find all the information they need about the Port of Ridgefield. The new site can be found at www.portridgefield.org.

The site contains event calendars, public meeting agendas and minutes and a new feature a public forum where interested parties can exchange ideas and information. The public can easily track progress of the Environmental Cleanup of Ridgefield’s waterfront, transportation projects, recreational opportunities and the development of the Discovery Corridor. It also provides more detailed information for property developers or businesses interested in relocating to the greater Ridgefield area. The latest Port news and community newsletters can also be easily downloaded or individuals can register to have newsletters sent directly to their email.

“We are committed to providing the public with a multitude of ways to get informed and involved in Port business,” said Port Commissioner Joe Melroy. “My top priority in becoming a Port Commissioner was to increase public access to the Port. We’re following through by providing another, improved avenue for our constituents to learn about what we’re doing in the community,” he added. Michael Williams, Marketing & Communications Manager for the Port stated that his goal “…was to make the site visually exciting, easy to navigate and provide straightforward information that is vital to our target audiences.”

OakTree web designers and developers of Portland, Oregon designed the new site.
