Vancouver, Wash. – Washington State University Vancouver is hosting its annual Cougar Pride Days on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, April 15 - 17. Cougar Pride Days at WSU Vancouver is a time when students, faculty, staff, alumni and campus neighbors get together to demonstrate their cougar pride by volunteering for clean-up projects on the landmark campus.
Cougar Pride Days projects include: boardwalk and trail construction, habitat restoration and campus building cleaning. All outdoor projects start at the Facilities Operations building and are planned for rain or shine, so dress for the weather. Gloves are provided, but remember to wear your boots!

Cougar Pride participants are invited to a lunch and dodgeball tournament on Thursday, April 16 at noon. To sign up for the dodgeball tournament go to the Office of Student Involvement in the Firstenburg Student Commons building.
This university-wide event has historic roots dating back to the early part of the 20th century. Originally called "Campus Days," it was a time in WSUs history when trees were planted, sidewalks were built and the appearance of the campus was improved. It helped establish school spirit and cougar pride. Today the tradition continues system wide.
