Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Appoints New Board of Directors

Formal Installation of Officers and Board Members at Annual Dinner

VANCOUVER, Wash.— The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce (GVCC) recently elected the newest members of its board of directors. Through a mail-in ballot, members elected the following individuals to serve three-year terms, beginning in September 2008.

  • Jeff Harvey, CEO, Burgerville
  • Daniel Kirkwood, Vice President, Kirkwood and Kirkwood
  • William Pritchard, Owner, Pritchard Orthodontics
  • Rhona Sen Hoss, Community Partnerships Manager, The Columbian
In addition, the membership elected Elie Kassab, president of Prestige Development, to serve a second term on the board.

The chamber’s current board has formally nominated and approved the 2008-2009 slate of officers. Officers are:

  • Lisa Dow, West Coast Bank – Chair
  • Don Russo, Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt – Chair Elect
  • Jeff Woodside, Nutter Corporation – Vice Chair
  • David Horowitz, David A. Horowitz – Secretary/Treasurer
  • Carmen Villarma, The Management Group, Inc. – Immediate Past Chair
The new officers and board of directors will be formally installed at the GVCC’s Annual Dinner on Monday, Sept. 15, 2008. The event will take place at the Hilton Vancouver from 5:30-8:30 p.m. This year’s theme, “Building a Foundation: Leadership Past, Present and Future,” celebrates the rich history and tradition of the chamber and highlights its leadership efforts during its 118 years. Guest speaker will be Jeff Shafer, president of Agave Jeans.
