McDONALD’S® OF VANCOUVER HOSTS EXCLUSIVE VIP PARTY CELEBRATING ITS BRAND NEW LOCATION

Vancouver City Council Member, Jeanne Harris Will Perform A Special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 13

WHAT: McDonald’s of Vancouver is proud to host a special ribbon
cutting celebration for its newest restaurant this Saturday at 5p.m.; in attendance and performing the ribbon cutting is Vancouver City Council Member, Jeanne Harris.

In addition to the ribbon cutting celebration, 2008 McDonald’s All
American High School Basketball team member, Ashley Corral’s family
will help kick off the festivities. Ashley is a graduate of Prairie
High School in Vancouver and was named to the McDonald’s West squad earlier this year. Ashley played with 23 other top female basketball players from across the country this past spring.

The newest McDonald’s will emulate a sports theme, highlighting local area sports; a large differentiator from all other area McDonald’s. Blazer jerseys, LumberJax jerseys and Ashley Corral’s 2008 All American jersey will be displayed on the walls.

McDonald’s will proudly present a check to Heritage High School senior, Mariah Nay to benefit her college education. McDonald’s challenged Heritage High School’s art classes to create a sports themed collage that depicts sports as an art form; Mariah’s winning piece is a baseball collage that will be permanently hung in the McDonald’s restaurant.
